Pastor Ron Martin became an ordained minister in 1978 and has served in various roles of ministry over the past 42 years for the Church of God of Prophecy. His experiences have led him from his home state of West Virginia to South Carolina, where he served as a State Evangelist in 1981, and then to Alabama in 1982. Prior to becoming a pastor he served the organization as a State Secretary, State Evangelist, Public Relations/Outreach Director, and Youth Camp Director. His tenures as lead pastor include serving the congregations at Moulton, AL, Jasper (Boldo), AL, Sterrett, AL, Calera, AL and Cottondale, AL where he served as the lead pastor for 17 years. Along with his pastoral duties, he has spent the last 13 years working as a hospice chaplain for Amedisys Hospice of Tuscaloosa, AL.

Pastor Ron is a native of Marion County, WV. He has an Associate of Ministry Degree from Tomlinson College, a Bachelor of Ministry Degree from Lee University graduating Cum Laude. He recently graduated with a Master's Degree in Christian Counseling at Newburgh Theological Seminary.

An effective communicator of God's Word, Pastor Ron is widely known for his practical and enthusiastic preaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives. Pastor Ron and his wife, Pamela, have been married since 2006. Sis. Pamela travelled extensively with her family as National Evangelist for the Church of God of Prophecy. They are the proud parents of 3 adult children, Aaron Chase Martin, Courtnev Blair Martin and Michael David Lamar Ford. They are the adoring grandparents of 4 precious grandchildren, Riley Alexis White, Bowman Wiley Ford, Clarke Alice Mason and

Cruitt James Ford.
